My career in the field of education spans almost 30 years. In the three decades that I have spent teaching, I have actually learnt more. My early education was from a Convent affiliated with Cambridge University. I went on to acquire a Master’s degree in English Literature which paved open the way to a number of diplomas from both Cambridge and Oxford Universities.

In these fulfilling years I have acquired several certifications on a number of courses and field related topics from the U.K. and U.S.A. and have had the pride of teaching there too for ten years, have set up new schools and colleges here and in the U.A.E., mentored school incharges, trained teachers, counselled students and re-vamped and re-shaped entire curriculums for the better. Having specialized in dealing with difficult, emotional and behaviorally challenged students and also having worked with the gifted, talented students, I managed to help them achieve high accolades.

I have always had the wonderful experience of being a teacher cum Principal and have purposely chosen to do so because I believe that it keeps me informed about all that goes on in the classroom, and helps bridge the gap between the student and myself and the teacher and myself, and in the process helps me to communicate better with the parents.

Having spent a major chunk of my life trying to do justice to the career I have willingly adopted, I have come to the realization that true and meaningful education, that which not only imparts quality academics, but builds values and makes a humane individual, can only be achieved through the process of triangulation between the teacher, parent and the student.

‘Not a brick can be removed from the pyramid, else the whole edifice falls’.

My sincere hope for our future generation to prosper and become good human beings depends on the untiring efforts by the parents to do their part in instilling values and civic sense in their children, as well as for the teachers to dedicate themselves to the task of making the students truly learned by imparting quality education, and the habit of self reflection & self improvement.

It is neither a tall order nor is it unachievable; all it needs is the impetus, will and the moral courage by both the parties to change the destiny of our youth.

With hope in my heart and the drive in my bones, I assure you, God willing, to do my utmost to bring excellence at all levels in the years to come.

God Bless!
